Pandora's Soapbox Company Colorado Soaps

Pandora's Soaps of Colorado are eight soaps that depict the different aspects of living in this great state. The soaps include:

Colorado 14er- A brisk and strong scent, almost manly but I love using it

Colorado Wildflowers- soft and floral, the scent of wildflowers

Rock Bottom River- cool water and dampened banks

Scrub Desert Rain- the scent of sage and cedar after a rain

Mesa Verde- juniper trees fill the air with their scent in the four corners region

Rocky Mountain Forest- the scent of pine and spruce, as if you are hiking in the woods

Colorado Grasslands- the scent of green grasses and sage, a fresh scent

Autumn Aspen- the scent of fall, warm leaves underfoot and crisp mountain air

The Colorado Soap line is one I hold dear to my heart and so far I have made three of them. I'm in the process of searching for the perfect fragrance oil for each bar. Each bar not only has a scent that reflects the ecosystem for which it is named but is also colored with FDA approved colorants in swirls, blocks, flecks or chunks to depict it visually. I hope you will find these soaps inspiring.

The base recipe for this line is still being decided on. For now each bar may be a different base recipe as I experiment, just check below for the ingredients list. By December of 2007 I hope to have all 8 scents chosen, a base recipe picked and crates of all 8 bars for sale. I'll have full sized bars and small bars (maybe even do some votive candles in a set too!).

Mesa Verde: One of the most popular national parks in the south west. Sagebrush and juniper flourish in this region and are captured in this bar of soap. Very rustic, brisk and outdoorsy, both men and women should adore this new addition to the Colorado line! Ingredients: Ingredients: Saponified oils of palm kernal, olive, palm, shea butter, safflower and castor with fragrance oils, sugar, and colorants. (Out of Stock)
Colorado Grasslands: A less exulted ecosystem of Colorado, the grasslands are beloved by those who live here. This bar captures the essence of green grasses and sage brush found in the eastern part of the state Ingredients: Saponified oils of olive, canola, palm kernal, palm, hydrogenated soybean, coconut, sunflower and sweet almond with fragrance oils, sugar, chromium green and hydrated green oxide colorants. (5 bars left)
Colorado 14er: This soap exemplifies the thrill of climbing a 14,000 foot mountain in the Rockies. Imagine reaching for the wispy clouds and touching the rich blue sky. Ingredients: Saponified oils of olive, palm kernal, shea butter, palm and cocoa butter with fragrance oils, patchouli essential oils, sugar and ultramarine oxide colorant. (Out of Stock)

*All colorants used in my soaps are FDA and cosmetic approved. The oxides and ultramarines contain no mercury, lead, cadmium, or copper metals since they are manufactured rather than mined*

I will keep this site updated with new Colorado soaps as they are made, this may be a slower moving page as I have to find the perfect scent to depict 8 different ecosystems I've chosen for this soap line. I can take on orders for full batches or I can sell individual bars. Once I have all 8 bars formulated I'll have small bar and large bar gift sets in crate style packaging!
